About us
In 2005, Jane and I created the website www.simonkeenlyside.info through frustration with the lack of a truly comprehensive and up-to-date source of information about the lyric baritone, Simon Keenlyside. We had no idea at the time how popular the site was to become, and what a life-changing experience it would be for us both!
Flushed with the success of that website I decided in 2007 to create www.geraldfinley.info to gather and collate all avaliable information about the great bass-baritone, Gerald Finley, and Jane thought it an excellent idea. Many of our chums from SK.info are also very happy to be involved in this project, and we thank them for all of their help, support and friendship.
As well as being an outlet to express our love of opera and song, the two websites satisfy a need to categorize and understand, which undoubtedly reflects our scientific backgrounds (Janet has a PhD in plant biochemistry, Jane a PhD in physics).
We are both married and both live in the London area.
